Don't ever think there isn't a place for you because you're new.

New people come here and make places for themselves appear by sheer force of will - and by investing time and effort.

A lot of making a place for yourself comes out of learning what shit does and doesn't deserve a response.

A lot of it is also making clear that you are an enjoyable person to be around.


A lot of you came here for anime and manga.

Learn here and learn now that Ochiru is a lot more than anime and manga. It isn't like other forums, where most users can be said to interact with each other only through said fourms.

People forge actual community and friendships here. FFS, people go to each others' weddings here. People learn who the person is behind the username.

People even join this place together and, sometimes, leave it together.

That is, if you make the effort to bond like that and, I dunno, be friends. This means you need to be resilient and bring something to the table.
